Stumbled across this place while on a vacation at Deer Creek Lodge. My bf and I had lunch here and I was very pleasantly surprised, as I had admittedly low expectations given how small WCH is. The menu and food quality were really good, and the outdoor seating was nice. I had the chicken salad on a croissant and he had one of their many burgers.

The outdoor patio is fun with good music playing. The portions are quite large. I had an amazing turkey burger with guacamole and I liked the steak fries. The fried mushrooms are flavorful and well made too.

Great drink selection! We like dark beers and this is the only place in town to get a specialty beer, like Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Their food is some of the best in town. We recommend the chicken bacon ranch wrap or the grilled cheese (seriously you wouldn't believe grilled cheese could taste that good!) but we've never had anything there we didn't like (pizza, steak fries, Philly, homemade chips, etc.). It's definitely bar food done well! We love the addition of the enclosed outdoor bar but our only complaint is that they're kind of slow there. Even when they're not busy it takes way too long to get your food. If you've got a couple of hours, it's worth the wait but don't expect to be in and out quickly!

One of the best burgers around. The menu is diverse enough to keep me trying new things . The beer selection is small , but it's a good selection. The decor is nice and I like the sunk bar. Service is so-so but good help is hard to find.

Stopped here for lunch and to watch a Buckeyes game when we just passed through town to go to Paint Creek. Has a great lunch, and unlike many places, was not pressured into buying a lot of drinks while watching the game. Had a great Philly steak sandwich. The outdoor bar is really nice. I would highly recommend this gem on any summer day or night.

Cold chili, tasteless hamburger, disgusting seafood platter, odd tasting beer, disinterested servers. Perhaps my expectations are too high. WCH has limited options for decent food, but this was the worst.
